Haya Natsheh was born on 28 November 1992 in Jerusalem. After graduating from Schmidt’s Girls College in 2010, Haya was awarded a DAAD scholarship to continue her higher education in the field of translation and interpreting (English, Arabic, German) at the German Jordanian University in Amman.
During her four years of study between Jordan and Germany, Haya took part in numerous exchange programmes and completed one exchange semester at the University of Bonn, after which she did her internship at the Public Information Office at UNRWA.
After graduation, Haya worked as a Language Assistants Supervisor and Cultural Advisor at the Palestinians Officers Academy, where she was the supervisor and team leader of 14 other translators. In September 2015, Haya participated in the International Parliamentary Scholarship Programme at the German Bundestag. After her return, she decided to pursue her strong passion for politics.
In 2016, Haya was awarded a scholarship from the UK Government’s international award programme “Chevening” to complete an MSc in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Since September 2018, Haya has been Head of Public Relations and Resources Development at Alquds Fund and Endowment.
