Danielle Alakija is a barrister, multidisciplinary artist, Olympic athlete and the Founder & CEO The SOLI Group, an advocacy-based think tank and creative studio that operates at the intersection of community, culture and crisis. She is a member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, and has worked with the United Nations, the World Food Programme, the World Health Organization, UK Young Artists and is a Goalkeeper Global Goals Ambassador for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Danielle has a multifaceted background, working across legal, humanitarian, communications and artistic spaces. Her work primarily focuses upon highlighting systemic inequalities between the Global North and South, fostering connections between the regions in order ensure inclusive approaches to climate change, as well as documenting the human effects of climate change on Global South populations.
