The Global Diplomacy Lab (GDL) looks back on 10 successful years in cooperation with its leading partners. This phase concluded on 31 December 2024. Since then, GDL members have maintained the momentum and impact, while looking for new operational partners. During this search, the GDL moves forward, operating transitionally as a pro bono network through the dedication of its active members and constituents. This website has been transformed into a digital archive, ensuring that GDL’s valuable work, including information on its members, partners, and activities remains accessible. The Elected Advisory Council (EAC), representing the GDL community, is available via: eac@global-diplomacy-lab.org

We, members, partners and Secretariat, all work across sectors and have different professional backgrounds. Together with the member-driven approach we live and believe in, it is what makes the GDL the unique network that it is. Together, we form an ecosystem, we co-create disruptive ideas and free ourselves from prevalent conventions. On that basis, we develop solutions for global challenges with mutual trust and accountability as their pillars.

Secretariat

The Secretariat is the institutional backbone, sparring partner and coordination team of the Global Diplomacy Lab.

Members

The growing community of GDL members comes mainly from the GDL Leading Partner networks and brings vastly different backgrounds as well as experiences to the network, all on a pro-bono basis.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is the strategic decision-making body of the GDL. It consists of partners, member representatives, the Dean and the Secretariat.

Partners

Five strategic Leading Partners support the GDL. In addition, it cooperates with a range of network partners that share the GDL’s vision.
